Powertrain & Performance
The 2026 Porsche 911 4S models come with a 473-horsepower twin-turbo flat-six engine, taken from the Carrera S series. This is a 30-horsepower boost from previous versions. They are equipped with an 8-speed dual-clutch PDK automatic transmission, enabling them to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds with the Sport Chrono launch control.
The top speed reaches 191 mph in the coupe version. Porsche’s PTM system gives the car a rear-focused grip by changing how power is split between the front and back wheels, sending more to the rear but shifting power to the front when needed.

Tech and Component Upgrades
Borrowing features from the previous GTS generation, the 4S models get several upgrades. They now have better brake parts for improved stopping power. The exhaust system is sport-tuned for a more aggressive sound. The suspension dampers are also enhanced for a smoother ride.
A water-cooled front differential with an electromechanical clutch control is added for better handling. These improvements place the 4S models between the nimble Carrera S and the more race-focused GTS versions.

The interior features an extended leather package that covers seats, the dashboard, door panels, and the rear seats. Wireless phone charging is now included as a standard feature. Rear seats come with the car’s Targa and Cabriolet models as a regular part of the package, while they are available at no extra cost for the Coupe.
