Toyota has introduced a new step in racing with its GR LH2 Racing Concept, shown before the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This prototype runs on hydrogen and is based on the GR010 Hybrid Hypercar. The GR LH2 racing concept was created at Toyota’s Higashi-Fuji Technical Centre in Japan. Its chassis was assembled at the Gazoo Racing facility in Cologne, Germany. Toyota’s Vice Chairman of the WEC team, Kazuki Nakajima, shared that the company aims to push the limits of hydrogen combustion engine tech.
