Ram’s Legacy in NASCAR
Ram last competed in the NASCAR Truck Series in 2012, before ending its factory support. Although private teams have continued to run older Ram models, official backing from the brand was absent. Now, with growing demand from fans, dealers, and racing enthusiasts, Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis emphasized that the brand finally has a strategy that aligns with its vision for motorsports excellence.
“The desire was always there, but we didn’t have a plan that delivered the last tenth, and following just didn’t fit our DNA,” Kuniskis explained. “Now we have a solid plan that will set us apart from the field and will bring fresh new interest and engagement to America’s motorsport.”
