Land Rover is reigniting the spirit of off-road adventure with the global debut of its Defender 110 Trophy Edition, a retro-inspired SUV paying homage to the legendary Camel Trophy vehicles of the 1980s and ”90s—minus the cigarette branding but with all the grit.
Presented ahead of its official appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, the Trophy Edition channels the rugged elegance of Camel Trophy competitors. Painted in Deep Sandglow Yellow or Keswick Green, the SUV features a gloss black hood, arches, and bodywork—all stylistic cues that harken back to expedition-era Land Rovers, reimagined for today’s clean-living ethos.

Functional Design Meets Visual Drama
Offered as a full-production model globally (unlike previous North America-only specials), this Defender includes 20-inch Gloss Black wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, dark scuff plates, and Trophy decals for visual flair. Inside, the upgrades continue with Ebony Windsor Leather seats, illuminated sill kickplates, and a dashboard crossbeam that matches the chosen exterior color, ensuring a cohesive, premium feel.
For serious off-roaders—or those who just want to look the part—the Trophy Edition Accessory Pack adds utility-focused elements like a roof rack, side-mounted panniers, a roof ladder, mud flaps, and an elevated air intake (snorkel). The kit adds approximately $6,700 to the Defender’s $120,000 base price, offering both form and off-road function.
