Swedish hypercar manufacturer Koenigsegg has once again pushed the boundaries of performance and design with the launch of the Sadair’s Spear—the most radical evolution of the Jesko lineup to date. Developed as a more aggressive sibling to the Jesko Attack, this street-legal marvel is built to dominate the track while honoring the legacy of Christian von Koenigsegg’s father.
The name “Sadair’s Spear” carries emotional weight. Inspired by the racehorse ridden by Jesko von Koenigsegg in his final race in 1976, the title is a heartfelt tribute woven into high-octane engineering. While the new edition doesn’t carry the “Jesko” moniker, its foundation remains a testament to family legacy and extreme performance.

Powertrain & Performance
At its core, the Sadair’s Spear retains the iconic 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8, now tuned to deliver 1,300 hp on standard fuel, and a blistering 1,625 hp on E85 ethanol blend. To match this immense output, Koenigsegg shed 77 pounds by removing excess insulation and refining both mechanical and interior components, reducing the car’s dry weight to just 2,910 pounds.

Design & Interior
The Sadair’s Spear boosts aerodynamics with a double-blade rear wing that increases downforce. Its longer rear design and new intakes improve airflow and help cool the engine better. Wider Michelin Pilot Cup 2 tires provide better grip, with an optional Cup 2 R upgrade for maximum traction. These updates helped the hypercar cut 1.1 seconds from the Jesko Attack’s lap time at Gotland Ring, showing Koenigsegg’s focus on pushing performance higher.
Even with its focus on reducing weight, the Sadair’s Spear still offers great convenience. It comes with high-end features like wireless charging for smartphones and USB ports. Depending on the market, you can also choose optional six-point harnesses for added safety. This blend of speed and comfort makes it stand out among other supercars.

Only 30 units of the Sadair’s Spear will be produced, and each is already spoken for. Koenigsegg unveiled the car behind closed doors, selling out the entire batch almost instantly, cementing its status as a collector’s dream.
