Evasive Motorsports brings the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N to Pikes Peak, aiming to break records in the EV class.
Evasive Motorsports, the Southern California-based performance tuning powerhouse, is turning heads once again—this time by retiring its Tesla Model 3 in favor of the all-new 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N for the iconic Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Known for its dominating presence in time attack racing, Evasive is now gunning for a sub-10-minute run up the 14,115-foot summit in its heavily modified electric crossover. And it’s not just a swap—it’s a total transformation.

From Daily Driver to Race Day Warrior
Built from a standard Ioniq 5 N, the hill climb version underwent a dramatic makeover. Stripped of its interior and fitted with carbon-fiber doors and tailgate, the EV shed over 500 pounds of its original weight. Its aggressive stance is supported by 19×11-inch Titan 7 wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan A005 race slicks and adorned with aerodynamic discs by EVS Tuning.
To withstand the extreme demands of the Pikes Peak climb, the Ioniq 5 N is armed with a Moton suspension system engineered by none other than suspension expert Mike Kojima. Custom anti-roll bars, air jacks from Krontec, and a full carbon-fiber aero kit developed in partnership with Voltex ensure this machine is both fast and fiercely capable.

With prior seat time at Buttonwillow Raceway and access to Tesla’s Supercharger network, Walker is well-prepared to push Hyundai’s performance EV to the limit.
