Ford’s high-performance electric vehicle, the Super Mustang Mach-E, roared to victory in the Open Class at the 2025 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, despite adverse weather conditions. Driven by motorsport legend Romain Dumas, this all-electric powerhouse clocked an impressive 3 minutes and 42.24 seconds, securing second place overall behind Simone Faggioli’s Nova Proto NP01.
This year’s event was marred by high winds and debris at higher elevations, leading to the course being halved from its iconic 12.42 miles. While this makes direct comparison with previous runs difficult, the Super Mustang’s blistering pace over the truncated course highlights Ford’s relentless push in EV innovation.
