BMW Speedtop Concept to Enter Limited Production with Only 70 Units Worldwide
BMW has once again captivated automotive enthusiasts with its latest creation—the Concept Speedtop. Unveiled at the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy, this breathtaking vehicle takes inspiration from last year’s Skytop concept, blending high-performance engineering with an elegant shooting brake design. With only 70 units planned for production, the Speedtop is destined to be a rare gem in BMW’s lineup.

BMW Speedtop: Design & Interior Features
At first glance, the BMW Concept Speedtop is a masterpiece of precision styling. It retains the Skytop’s sharp, aggressive aesthetics, including narrow slit headlights and a striking shark-nose front end, while introducing an extended roofline for a sleek hatchback silhouette. A standout feature is the color gradient on the roof, transitioning seamlessly from Floating Sunstone Maroon to Floating Sundown Silver.

Additional standout features include a glow-edged kidney grille with horizontal bars, broad rear shoulders giving a tough look, 14-spoke wheels in two-tone colors, and door handles that are hidden and built into the window trim.

BMW makes sure the Speedtop looks stylish both inside and out. The interior has two tones: Sundown Maroon leather on the dashboard, console, and top door panels. Moonstone White leather covers the seats and lower door areas. Details with the Speedtop logo are found throughout the cabin. The trunk is lined with leather and lit with soft LED lights.

Instead of rear seats, the Speedtop offers two dedicated luggage shelves, complete with custom leather straps. BMW collaborated with Italian leather artisans Schedoni to design matching luggage sets that fit seamlessly into these compartments.

Performance and Engine Specifications
While BMW has yet to disclose full technical specifications, it has confirmed that the Speedtop features the brand’s most powerful V-8 engine available. If it shares mechanics with the Skytop, expect a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8, capable of delivering 617 horsepower through an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
