Luxury automotive giant Bentley has unveiled an exciting new addition to its lineup for the 2026 model year. Known for blending unparalleled sophistication with cutting-edge technology, Bentley is now offering a High Performance Hybrid powertrain for its acclaimed Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible, and Flying Spur Sedan. This development arrives just months after the launch of the plug-in hybrid Speed variants, taking Bentley’s drive toward electrification to new heights.

Luxury remains at the forefront of Bentley’s designs, evident in the introduction of Azure trims for these models. Crafted with an emphasis on wellness and comfort, Azure variants showcase features such as diamond-quilted leather interiors, embroidered headrests, and innovative technologies like panoramic sunroofs and neck warmers to redefine driving pleasure.
Bentley’s latest models sport distinctive exterior and interior styling. Bentley Continental GT Performance and Powertrains
The High Performance Hybrid configuration combines a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine with an electric motor, producing a formidable 671 horsepower and 686 pound-feet of torque. While slightly less powerful than the Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain featured in the Speed variants, this setup still outpaces the legacy W-12 engine that defined previous models. With this new hybrid system, the Continental GT sprints from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.5 seconds, while the Convertible and Flying Spur Sedan achieve the same feat in 3.8 seconds.
The plug-in hybrid models boast an impressive all-electric driving range of up to 53 miles for the Continental GT—10 miles longer than the range offered by Bentley’s Ultra Performance Hybrid setup. For the Convertible, the range stands at a commendable 51 miles, underscoring Bentley’s commitment to sustainability without compromising performance.

What to Expect in Pricing
Bentley has yet to disclose pricing for the new vehicles; however, early estimates suggest these models will fall below the premium Speed variants. The Continental GT Speed is currently priced at $306,250, while base models are likely to start below $300,000. The Azure trims, with added luxury features, may range higher.
