Mercedes-AMG first gave a glimpse of this revolutionary EV back in 2022 with the Vision AMG concept, and recent teaser images have only intensified anticipation. Developed by Yasa, a British company acquired by Mercedes in 2021, these motors promise exceptional power density, reduced weight, and compact design, all crucial elements for a high-performance EV.

Interestingly, the current AMG GT four-door, which features six- and eight-cylinder powertrains, may still coexist with the EV for a few years—particularly as the GT63 S E Performance plug-in hybrid was only recently introduced in 2024.
