Audi has infused the 2026 Q3 with a fresh visual identity that draws inspiration from its larger sibling, the Q5. The split headlight design integrates sleek LED daytime running lights positioned above the main headlight unit, while a wide octagonal-patterned grille dominates the front fascia. Crisp shoulder lines and bold wheel arches enhance the SUV’s assertive stance, complemented by wheels ranging from 17 to 20 inches.

At the rear, a sleek light bar spans the width of the SUV, incorporating optional digital OLED lighting for enhanced visual appeal. Audi’s advanced lighting technology, available in Europe, allows the LEDs to display driver-assist system information on the road—but due to US regulations, these features might not make their way stateside.

The cabin of the new Q3 reflects Audi’s commitment to advanced in-car technology. The dashboard houses two screens—an 11.9-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.8-inch touchscreen angled toward the driver. These displays run on Android Automotive OS, allowing access to third-party apps like YouTube. Additionally, a voice-controlled AI assistant enhances user experience by “learning” from driver interactions.

Audi has redesigned the center console to free up storage space by relocating the gear selector to a stalk behind the steering wheel. The layout now features two cupholders, a wireless charging pad, and multiple USB-C ports, ensuring seamless connectivity. Rear passengers also get dedicated USB-C ports for added convenience.

Sound enthusiasts will appreciate the new 12-speaker Sonos audio system with customizable profiles, including Neutral, Concert, Lounge, and Podcast modes. Enhanced sound presets, such as “bass intensification” and “music revitalization,” optimize compressed audio files for richer playback. Meanwhile, laminated front side glass contributes to a quieter cabin environment.

2026 Audi Q3: Powertrain and Performance

Unlike its European counterpart, which benefits from hybrid assistance, the US-spec 2026 Audi Q3 will retain a conventional 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. While Audi has yet to confirm exact specifications, the 2025 model generates 228 horsepower and features standard all-wheel drive. Given the vehicle’s positioning, performance figures are likely to remain in the same ballpark.

European variants will receive a broader selection of powertrain options, including a mild-hybrid 48-volt system, diesel engines, and a plug-in hybrid setup producing 268 horsepower with an estimated 63-mile electric range. However, American consumers will not have access to these alternatives.

Driver Assistance and Safety Features

Audi has integrated a suite of driver assistance technologies to enhance safety and convenience. The adaptive driving assistant plus system assists with acceleration, braking, and maintaining distance from vehicles ahead. It also supports lane guidance up to 130 mph, while a built-in camera monitors the driver for signs of drowsiness.

The Q3 offers multiple suspension configurations, including an optional sports suspension and an advanced setup with upgraded two-valve dampers, ensuring a refined ride quality tailored to diverse driving conditions.
