2026 Polestar 4 Now Available to Order in the U.S. with $57,800 Starting Price — Deliveries Begin This Fall.
The 2026 Polestar 4, an electric SUV that defies conventional design, is now available for purchase in the U.S. market. With its fastback styling, lack of a rear window, and high-tech driving features, this EV is set to make waves among American buyers looking for something fresh and futuristic.
Originally expected to reach American customers in 2024, the vehicle faced delays due to shifting geopolitical and economic factors. Now, Polestar has confirmed that deliveries will begin in fall 2025, marking a significant milestone for the Swedish automaker.

A Bold Design and Advanced Technology
Polestar has taken a daring step by removing the rear window, replacing it with a high-definition roof-mounted camera system that offers rear visibility. This unusual design prioritizes aerodynamics and structural integrity while providing a streamlined, immersive driving experience.
Standard features include Google’s Built-In infotainment system, Apple digital key, a panoramic glass roof, 360-degree camera, and driver-assist technologies like lane change assist and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims offer massaging ventilated seats, a Harmon Kardon sound system, and even Swedish gold-painted Brembo brakes.

Powertrain and Performance
U.S. buyers can choose between two long-range powertrains. The Single-Motor RWD offers 272 horsepower, 253 lb-ft of torque, and an estimated 300 miles of range. The Dual-Motor AWD produces 544 horsepower, 506 lb-ft of torque, and has a range of 272 miles.
The AWD version can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, making it Polestar’s quickest car so far. Both models are fitted with a 100-kWh battery, enabling 200 kW DC fast charging and 11 kW AC charging.

2026 Polestar 4 Pricing and Availability
The 2026 Polestar 4 can now be customized online through Polestar’s website. Delivery will begin in fall 2025. The Long-Range Single Motor starts at $57,800. The Long Range Dual Motor costs $64,300. Upgrades like the Plus Pack and Performance Pack are also available.
