2026 BMW R 1300 R: Design and Features

To complement the powerful engine, BMW has introduced a redesigned steel sheet metal main frame paired with a die-cast aluminum rear frame. This new configuration improves stiffness and handling, allowing for more stable and precise braking. Riders will also benefit from the twin-disc brake setup, which includes Integral ABS Pro as standard. For those looking for even greater braking performance, BMW offers an optional sport brake system.

The suspension system on the R 1300 R is another highlight. It features a new 47 mm upside-down telescopic fork at the front and the EVO Paralever rear setup. For the first time in a production motorcycle, BMW includes a telescopic fork with adjustable spring rate via the optional Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA).
