YZ450F – Flagship Revamped

The 2026 Yamaha YZ450F leads with big updates. It now features improved engine tuning and smoother power delivery. The bike has a sleeker, more comfortable look and feel. Yamaha’s Power Tuner app adds a new password lock for the ECU, making it easier to keep your settings secure. It also allows you to customize your ride more easily.

The MSRP is $10,299 in Team Yamaha Blue and $10,499 for the 70th Anniversary Edition. The bike will be available starting in August 2025 for the standard version, and the Anniversary Edition will arrive in October 2025.

Yamaha marks its 70th anniversary, which began in 1955, with four special edition models: YZ125, YZ250, YZ250F, and YZ450F. Engine & Ride Enhancements Across the Board

The YZ125 two-stroke and its Anniversary counterpart benefit from a redesigned intake and updated carburetion and CDI settings, ensuring smoother throttle control and improved adaptability across race conditions. The YZ450FX Cross Country now includes a four-mode Traction Control system, accessible via the Power Tuner app—positioning Yamaha ahead in electronic ride assist tech.

For the first time in the industry, Yamaha’s full four-stroke competition range—including models like YZ250F, WR250F, and WR450F—now comes with an ECU lock function, allowing riders to prevent unauthorized access with a custom passcode.
